Privacy Policy
UPDATED // 2026.10.04
This policy explains what Lucive LLC ("we", "us") collects through traversal.lucive.co, why, and what you can do about it. Lucive LLC is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The studio site at lucive.co and our other product, Camp, have their own policies; this one covers Traversal only.
What this site collects today
Traversal is not released yet. Today the site collects only what you send us:
- Waitlist. Your email address, so we can write to you once when Traversal opens.
- Support and report forms. Your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
- Connection data. Your IP address, used briefly to limit how many messages one connection can send. It is not stored with your message.
- Bot protection. Our forms use hCaptcha to tell people from automated scripts. hCaptcha processes information about your browser and device under its own privacy policy.
The site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
How we use it
We use what you send to answer you, to send the one launch email you asked for, to fix problems you report, and to keep the forms free of abuse. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
A small number of service providers run the site on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (the database that stores form submissions, in the United States), Upstash (rate limiting), hCaptcha (bot protection), Cloudinary (images in our Notes) and Resend (the email that tells us a message arrived and carries our reply). Each only handles data to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until Traversal opens and we have sent the launch email, or until you ask us to remove yours. Support and report messages are kept for as long as we need them to resolve what you raised, and then for up to two years as a record, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist, at any time. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have further rights under laws such as the CCPA and the GDPR, and we honor those requests wherever you live. Send a request through Support and choose Privacy request, or email team@lucive.co. We answer within 30 days.
When the app launches
When Traversal opens, this policy will be updated before anything changes. In brief, the app as designed works like this:
- Your journal (trades, sessions, rules, notes and screenshots) is stored on your device and synced to our database so it is backed up and available on your other devices. It is protected so that only your account can read it.
- Traversal never connects to a brokerage account. Trades arrive when you type them or when you forward a broker confirmation email.
- Forwarded emails are read to draft trades for you to approve, deleted 30 days after they are read, and never used to train anything.
- Nightly reviews are written on our servers from your own journal data. They are not used to train anything either.
- You can export your trades and sessions to CSV and delete your account and its data.
Children
Traversal is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we say so on the site before it takes effect.
